The Milan Fashion Week ended yesterday and we are ready to announce which brands out of the 61 that walked the catwalk performed better on Instagram.
Gucci conquers the top spot with almost 5M interactions during the whole event. The most appreciated post is the one with the new rubber bag with the vintage logo published on September 20th, but the brand hit the highest peak of engagement on the 21st, when it got 1,6M interactions.
Second place for Versace that presented a collection as a tribute to the founder Gianni on the 20th anniversary of his death. Versace obtained 2,5M interactions, with 1,2M only on September 23rd. The most liked post? The one with the top models of the past, Gianni Versace’s muses: Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen ensured 316,3K interactions.
Third place for Moschino with its models covered with flowers who got 1,8M interactions. Gigi Hadid’s outfit is the most engaging with 63,7K interactions.
In the new followers ranking Gucci wins again getting more than 115K new followers, then we find Versace with nearly 97K and Prada which increased its follower base by more than 53K people.
Thanks to our social influencer tool we finally had a look at the most engaging influencer who posted using the #MFW hashtag. In the Top 5 we see the Spanish fashion blogger Dulceida (2M interactions), followed by the top model Alessandra Ambrosio (1M) and the entrepreneur Kris Jenner, mother of the famous Kendall Janner, who got 842,7K interactions. The bloggers Thassia Naves and Maryana Ro complete the list.
